is e-Business Technology and Management? |
|
E- Business is "the use of
electronically enabled communications networks
that allow business enterprises to transmit
and recieve information." This includes
what is generally known as e-commerce but also
covers the communications within and between
different organisations.
The BSc (Hons) e-Business Technology and Management
is a 3+0 degree program conducted at Kolej Technologi
YPC-iTWeb in collaboration with Liverpool John
Moores University, United Kingdom. This programme
combines three themes: Business & Technology
Management; Information Technology and Key skills.The
programme equips graduates to work in variety
of sectors where e-business can help achive
competitive advantage.
E- Business Technology & Management aims
to produce graduates who:
- Have a broad range of knowledge and
skills, capable of effective problem solving
in industry immediately on graduation
- Combine technical appreciation with business
awareness and have develop people management
skills
This is consistent with many recent reports
of the employers' needs of new graduates.
